May 10, 2004 Geac integrated a number of its ERP and industry-specific applications with performance management functionality based on software it acquired last year, the company said Monday.
Performance management modules Geac either has made or plans to make available with its back-office applications include technologies for planning, budgeting, expense and travel management, forecasting, financial consolidation, reporting and analysis.
The Geac product lines given the new functionality include System21 Aurora, SmartStream, AMSI and EnterpriseServer. Geac announced functionality designed to let its EnterpriseServer customers tie performance management applications to mainframe-based financial systems in January.
The $432 million software firm acquired the business performance capability of Comshare, since renamed Geac Business Performance Management, in 2003.
